Engineering Intelligence
How it works
Every engagement follows the same five-phase methodology. The process is structured, transparent, and designed to produce findings you can act on.
Phase 1Discovery & Scoping
Days 1–3
Discovery & Scoping
We define the engagement scope, identify data sources, schedule interviews, and establish access to your engineering toolchain. You receive a detailed engagement plan before work begins.
Phase 2Evidence Collection
Days 4–12
Evidence Collection
We conduct structured interviews with engineering leadership and ICs, collect data from your toolchain (CI/CD, source control, test suites, observability, incident records), and capture configuration snapshots.
Phase 3Analysis
Days 13–18
Analysis
Evidence is analysed against our intelligence framework. We identify risks, gaps, and opportunities; cross-reference findings across multiple data sources; and assign confidence levels to each finding.
Phase 4Reporting
Days 19–22
Reporting
Findings, recommendations, and roadmap are compiled into the deliverable set. You receive a draft for review, followed by a final report and a closeout discussion with the analysis lead.
Phase 5Closeout
Days 23–28
Closeout
We present findings to your team, walk through the roadmap, and provide the operations guide. The engagement concludes with a written summary of all deliverables and any follow-up recommendations.
Principles
How we approach every engagement
- Every finding is traceable to specific evidence
- Confidence levels are assigned and reported honestly
- Analysis follows a structured, auditable methodology with documented methods and confidence assessment at every stage
- Scope is fixed before work begins
- Deliverables are scoped for specific audiences
